April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July. She began guitar and piano lessons at seven years old. She was interested in writing songs was ignited. April Lockhart wrote her first single"Different" when she was twelve years old. When she was 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her musicianship ability. She started writing songs along with her dad at home in NY and LA within a short time. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" for some of the friends she had who struggled with issues such as peer pressurization issues, or even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart works in partnerships at popular Clean Beauty brand Ilia as well as an influencer in the lifestyle industry who has a growing fan base. Born without a left hand, she has a significant part to play in herself. It's however not the entire tale. However, she acknowledges going through phases of her body and sometimes feeling insecure to wear specific types of clothes which showed the arms of her. Nowadays, she dresses anything she likes and uploads pictures of herself in these outfits on social media, she is proud of herself. The key to self-love for her is that it's not an end destination. However, that is typical for people who has insecurities. The people you surround yourself with that truly understand you and see into your heart are the most important people who can remind you of the things you're concerned about.
